Our Team

Sam Moore

Role:  Director

Home:  I grew up in Belfast, and have lived in Dublin since 2009.

Favourite Quote:

“Some men see things as they are and ask why. Others dream things that never were and ask why not?”  George Bernard Shaw

Favourite Thing To Do:  Sitting around with a bunch of friends over a leisurely meal figuring out how to change the world.

What I Do:  I develop and train young leaders across Ireland, and help them to develop models of innovative mission that will serve, equip, and grow the church in Ireland. Practically that involves facilitating Tempo and workshops, as well as leading the Innovista team here in Ireland.

Why I Do It:  Seeing leaders freed to be who God is creating them to be, and bringing the hope and transformation of God’s kingdom to everything they touch is what makes me get out of bed in the morning.

Ashleigh Harrison

Role: RISE Trainer / Co-ordinator

Where I’m from: Lisburn, Co. Antrim. I moved to Dublin in September 2012.

Favourite Quote:

“It isn’t Narnia, you know,” sobbed Lucy. “It’s you. We shan’t meet you there. And how can we live, never meeting you?”
“But you shall meet me, dear one,” said Aslan.
“Are -are you there too, Sir?” said Edmund.
“I am,” said Aslan. “But there I have another name. You must learn to know me by that name. This was the very reason why you were brought to Narnia, that by knowing me here for a little, you may know me better there.” C.S. LewisThe Voyage of the Dawn Treader

Favourite Thing To Do: Play hockey and nap

What I Do: I help lead our RISE Leadership and mentoring programme for teenagers across Dublin Inner City.

Why I Do It: I am passionate about seeing young people being given the opportunity to grow in confidence in who they are and dream about what they could become.

Anne Baenziger

Role: RISE Trainer

Home: I grew up in Indiana, in the Midwestern part of the United States. I moved to Dublin in September 2013.

Favourite Quote:

“So, friends, every day do something that won’t compute…Give your approval to all you cannot understand…Ask the questions that have no answers. Put your faith in two inches of humus that will build under the trees every thousand years…Laugh. Be joyful though you have considered all the facts….Practice resurrection.” Wendell Berry

Favourite Thing To Do: I love watching movies, any genre, any time, anywhere and with any one!

What I Do: I help facilitate RISE Leadership and Mentoring programmes for teenagers across Dublin Inner City.

Why I Do it: I live to encourage, love, and serve others because God created us to be good, live abundantly, and grow in a redeemed life through Jesus.

Role: Leading for Life Project Manager, and Operations Manager for Innovista Ireland

Home: I grew up in Clonakilty, Co. Cork, and have lived in Belfast since 2006.

Favourite quote

“Even if you’re on the right track, you’ll get run over if you just sit there.” Will Rogers

Favourite thing to do: I love having conversations with friends about things that matter.

What I do: My main role is organising Leading for Life – a training experience for leaders who want to see people and places changed by Jesus. I also help out with admin, finance, writing policies and a few other things!

Why I do it: I love hearing the stories of the leaders we work with – whether that’s through Leading for Life, Tempo, RISE, or in other ways. And I’m excited about seeing even more change in young leaders, and the resulting changes in the ministries they lead and for the people they serve.

What a thrill to see such aspirations and goals in such potential young leaders who are aware
it is not of themselves or their gifting’s but all of and for Jesus. May the Lord bring revival to
young and old through your obedience to His call. Deut. 31:8
